Premise:

Palazzo De Giorgi is a classic bed and breakfast, in keeping with the Anglo-Saxon tradition of this type of hospitality, offering a family-style welcome in a portion of our home. The owners, Daniele and Stefania, live on site and are available to assist with any needs or tourist information.

Although we love animals, both due to allergies that some of our guests may have and the type of furnishings, your four-legged friends are not permitted to stay at our property. If undeclared pets are discovered upon arrival, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation.
The rooms at the Palazzo De Giorgi Bed and Breakfast are on the first floor of a building dating back to 1879, without an elevator. We are always happy to help our guests with their luggage, but we do not recommend booking with us if you have mobility issues.
Because we are located at the entrance to the historic center, there are paid parking spaces in the surrounding streets, but we cannot offer private parking.

Breakfast

The prices shown on this site include breakfast.

Breakfast is served in your room, equipped so you can easily prepare your own coffee, tea, or cappuccino at your preferred time. Upon arrival, a table will be set in your room, stocked with a homemade tart, bread, jam, eggs to boil, and cereal.
Daily housekeeping is provided, including restocking everything you’ve consumed so you can enjoy breakfast the following day. Guests are asked to leave their room by 11:00 a.m. at the latest to ensure this important service. Towels are changed every two days and, for a fee, upon any additional requests. Laundry and ironing services are also available for a fee.

Please inform us well in advance of any intolerances or allergies. If you request a gluten-free breakfast, we will only provide packaged products.

Free Wi-Fi throughout the property.

Booking methods

After you request availability, we will send you our best offer. Once you confirm your wish to book, we will send you an email confirming availability, summarizing the rates and services offered, along with the bank details for the deposit to secure your reservation (Article 1385 of the Italian Civil Code).

A “non-refundable” rate requires a 100% prepayment of the total stay upon confirmation. Payment must be made within 3 days of confirmation of availability via bank transfer. In the event of changes, cancellations, late arrivals, early departures, or no-shows, 100% of the deposit will be retained.

The room is considered confirmed only upon our receipt of the deposit, which we will confirm by email. Failure to pay the deposit within 3 days of receiving the confirmation of availability will result in forfeiture of the reservation (unless otherwise agreed between the parties).

If the booking is made within the same time period as the arrival date (generally 96 hours before), no deposit will be required, but confirmation by email or telephone is always required.

Orario di arrivo (Check-in) e partenza (Check-out)

Check-in: from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM on the day of arrival. Any requests for arrival before 3:00 PM must be confirmed by the property.

Where possible, if the room is ready before the established check-in time, we will be happy to deliver it to you immediately.

We appreciate your communication regarding your arrival time and any delays (after 8:00 PM). Failure to communicate your arrival after 8:00 PM will result in a no-show and the reservation being forfeited.

Check-out: by 10:00 AM on the day of departure.
Check-out by 12:00 PM is available for a surcharge of €30.

Formalities to be completed upon arrival

Upon arrival, the guest and all members of the group must present a valid identity document (ID card, driving license, passport) to allow us to report the guests staying with the Public Security authorities, as required by current legislation.

Failure to comply with and/or refusal to comply with this requirement, as well as failure to possess valid and/or current documents, constitutes a violation of the Penal Code and will result in the guest being denied access to our facility and immediate removal from the B&B.

The rooms, as well as the keys for access to the B&B and the booked room, cannot be delivered before the identification of the Guests has been completed.

Keys must be returned upon checkout. If this is not done, or if they are lost, we will be required to charge a €30.00 fee for each missing key.

Our guests’ data is processed in accordance with current privacy legislation.

It is strictly forbidden to receive visitors and/or introduce additional guests other than those currently staying there without prior request and possible authorization from the B&B managers.

The balance for the booked stay, net of any deposit already paid, must be paid upon arrival. We accept Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, Amex, Bancomat, and cash. We do not accept checks.

Since the B&B is not a commercial business as defined by current legislation, we issue a non-tax receipt, subject to a €2.00 stamp duty, exclusively for stays exceeding €77.49. This stamp duty is however our responsibility. The non-tax receipt will be issued upon payment of the balance for the stay, also indicating the deposit paid.

The tourist tax is always separate and can be paid exclusively in cash. The price ranges from €1.50 to €2.50 per person per night for a maximum of five consecutive nights and will be included in the total price on your receipt.

The number of guests, exclusively adults, staying at the property cannot exceed the number agreed upon at the time of booking, unless we communicate this and authorize it if more rooms are available. The total number of rooms is 3 doubles, so our Bed and Breakfast can accommodate a maximum of 6 adults. If upon arrival, the number of guests exceeds the number stated at the time of booking, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation.
